“Christ is our Message….The Bible is Our Text”

2017 Missions Focus

 Missions Focus Sunday

September 17, 2017

The Missions Committee needs your help!  Our Mission Focus Sunday is Sept. 17th and our theme is "Building a global Gospel amily".  If you have ever been on a mission trip (even 50 or 60 years ago), we need your pictures, either on a poster board or digital prints.  There is a poster in the Foyer to give you an idea of what we would like to have.  We will have all the boards on display on Sunday, September 17th, as well as a power point of the digital prints.  Pleas eemail any digital prints to Amanda Circle.  All posters and prints need to be at the church office by Wednesday, August 30th.

August Mission Support

Supporting a child in Awana will be our mission focus for the month of August. A $20 donation will help buy a book & uniform (shirt or vest) for a child in one of the clubs. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated! Please give money to Ben Bullock or place in an envelope marked "Awana" & place in the Sunday morning offering during the month of August. Thanks for helping our kids grow up in the knowledge & grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

BIBLES
Beginning next Sunday(August 2) we will be collecting old, unused or unwanted Bibles.  There will be three boxes in the foyer for the Bibles.  They will be marked donate, recycle and bury.  Donated Bibles willl be given to local and/or international ministries for distribution.  These Bibles should be in usable condition.  Those put in the recycle box will be taken to paper recycler.  Ther bury box will be buried on our church property in a brief ceremony following the morning service on September 10th.
